People can do anything for money, and that's the sad reality. Hoaxed is Abhijit Das's debut novel. In this book, every character has their own story.

Mayank works in a software company in Pune. He's a Hindu Brahmin. And he used to obey his father a lot. He had a girlfriend named Camille Joseph. And yes, she's a Christian. He loves Camille a lot but being a pious Brahmin, he was afraid to tell his father about Camille. On the other hand, his father fixes his marriage with a girl named Muskan. There was a big reason behind it. And the reason is dowry(money). But how can he leave Camille, right? So he came up with a plan, and he agreed to the marriage. Muskan was an orphan. She grew up in her uncle Sharma's place with her grandmother. She was her grandmother's favorite. Her uncle was a politician, and he was furious about the dowry. The day after Mayank's marriage, he came back to Pune to celebrate his birthday with Camille. But some unusual incidents happened that affected both Camille and Muskan.

My thoughts: When you'll read this book you'll feel like the author is in front of you and telling you the whole story. I Recommend this!
