After seeing her mother died with the grief of not knowing where was her aunt for the 35 years, Carly decided to dig into this matter by her own. She wanted to find out what was her aunt Viv's life at the small town Fell and how she disappeared. ⁣

To do this Carly moved to the town from where Viv was missing without any glimmer, even police didn't find any clue about her disappearance. Fortunately, Carly got the exact job at the same creepy rundown motel where her aunt used to work as a night clerk.⁣

 And then she faced some strange things in the motel like the smell of cigarette even when no one around her, she saw a small boy who was pale like a white paper, also the light out problem and then a floral dressed woman. Carly didn’t believe her eyes because she knew this all not real but also everything was happening in front of her eyes. ⁣

She wondered if Viv also faced that too. Was this connected with her aunt disappearance?⁣

The story is told in the dual time period Vin in 1983 and her niece Carly in 2017. It was my first gothic mystery  book. I got goosebumps while reading(I get scared too easily don't judge me). There were not so twisted plot but the eerie setting of this book keep you reading until the last.⁣

The Sun Down Motel is really a fascinating and captivating book.
