Summary - The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho is a story of a boy named Santiago, who is searching for the treasure which he had dreamt of. By profession, he was a shepherd. And he loved his job. But he left his comfort zone and started seeking the treasure. In the journey of reaching his goal, he had gone through so many ups and downs. At a times he broke down. But again he stood up and started walking towards his goal. In the meantime, he met different people, experienced so many new things.

"And when you want something all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it."

At last, he reached his goal and got what he was seeking for so long.

My Review - The book is inspiring. It will motivate you. This is not the story of one boy. We all are the same here. We all are seeking something in our life. The book will teach you if you have dreams then you have to have the courage to fulfill them. Because you have to go through a lot before reaching your destination. It will teach you to try, try and try until you reach your goals. Never give up. You never know maybe if you try one more time you will win. I loved the way this book has portrayed a person's journey through life, towards his dream. I enjoyed reading it a lot. I would highly recommend it to everyone who has goals in their life.
