πš‚πšˆπ™½π™Ύπ™Ώπš‚π™Έπš‚ : A promising young girl named Sara, who is about to be a heiress to a great fortune is left under the care of Miss Minchin. Soon a great tragedy hit her, her father dies. She gets stripped off from all wealth and left her all alone in this cruel world. Her change of scene makes her life difficult, she is abused, overworked and starved. All she has left is her imagination and her doll Emily. Soon something magical happens and her life changes for better.

π™Όπš’ πšƒπš‘πš˜πšžπšπš‘πšπšœ : This is one of the cult classic children books. Her character is something to admire of. In some case you can't help but wonder, the author did a bit too much while creating this character but it still works. Sara is a clever girl with a heart of gold. She is nice and motherly to her peers. Her clothes, mannerisms and personality makes her a royalty. Every one thinks of her as a princess. And she loves to pretend as she is one. Even in her darkest days she imagine her self as a princess and fights her hardest to overcome. She feeds a street child even though she was starved, because a princess will put her people before herself. Her self awareness is exemplary.

I love this story so much, I remember when I watched anime version of this book in my childhood, I wanted to be like her. This brings so much memories!
